Panasonic's Blu-ray Disc Theater System employs a 7.1-channel speaker system to provide full 7.1-channel surround sound, which is fast becoming the Blu-ray standard. With seven speakers, a highly realistic surround sound wraps the listener in sound. A bamboo Cone Speaker is used for the front and center speakers to clearly reproduce a wide frequency range, from the sounds of explosions to metallic sounds. Powerful reverberating bass is achieved by the Kelton Subwoofer.

PHL Reference Chroma Processor Plus is a high quality image processing technology developed by Panasonic to reproduce color data with twice the accuracy of conventional systems.

P4HD processes more than 15 billion pixels per second and applies the optimal processing to every pixel. This allows it to render progressive images superbly, express motion smoothly and draw crisp diagonal lines for great picture quality.

This product features Multi-Format Playback including Blu-ray and regular DVDs. It is compatible with BD-Live and Bonusview. Listen to your favorite music on your iPod through the integrated Universal Dock, and even watch your videos from your iPod. Viera Link lets you control all compatible audio and video devices via a single remote and helpful on-screen menus. Viera Cast lets you enjoy great web entertainment and streaming content on your HDTV like YouTube.
